How to throw a successful barbecue?

Sumer is almost ending, it’s time to enjoy the last sunny days and what’s better than a barbecue to enjoy these days. Here are some tips and tricks to make sure your barbecue will be successful.

– Choose appropriate cuts for cooking on the grill according to the chosen meat ideal cut differs in thickness.

-Make sure the grill is cleaned among the cooking, especially if you have different types of food such as fish and chicken. We don’t want the chicken to taste like fish!

-Make sure to use marinades and to leave the food long enough to take flavor. Let’s say 2 hours minimum.

-Add spices and herbs to enhance the taste of food

-Make sure the temperature is correct and adjust to the proper degree of heat according to the cooked food.

-Use the good utensils such as tongs , be careful to don’t pierce your meat with a fork because as soon as you pierce the meat the juice will escape, making the meat drier and less flavorful.

-Make sure you have a hot and well oiled grill before cooking to prevent food from sticking on the grill.

-Use different cooking technique: direct, indirect or uncovered. According to the type of meat check the best method. For example, to fish the direct method is preferred. For steaks such as deer or elk with the uncovered cooking is recommended and for the famous ribs indirectly.

-The new thing is the salt plate!!! A slate of Himalaya’s salt on which you can cut, cook food while seasoning it. You will enjoy succulent grilled!!

-Let the meat rest!!! It is important that between cooking and tasting, the meat rests a few minutes so the juices stay inside when cutting unless it’s chicken and /or fish then this step is not necessary.

-Choose a good side dish. It’s fine to have meat and vegetables, but a meal is not complete, especially when you’re in good company; with family and friends, without an entry like a fresh salad, a frozen dessert or a refreshing drink during the hot sunny days.
